About Chessie Creek Farm
In early 2022, CCF started out purchasing some the best genetics in the breed by purchasing embryos from several of the top programs in the country. In the spring of 2023 with the purchase of our herd sire 44 Bright Lights 1851 and a group of 100 ET pregnancies form 44 Farms, CCF formed a strategic alliance with 44 Farms as well their Prime Pursuits program. We calved out over 200 ET calves in the Fall of 2023 and will calve 250 ET calves in the Fall of 2024, greatly enhancing and expanding our base of females and bulls to market through 44 Farms. Not only is CCF committed to creating an angus herd with high quality genetics, but is also dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint through our ongoing timber operation and the coming addition of utilizing solar energy for our power needs.
We have our annual bull sale the second Saturday in October and our Commercial bred heifer sale the second Saturday in May. In the spring of 2025 we will add our first Female Production Sale. However, if you are visiting this historical part of the country or call this beautiful area your home, we encourage you to spend some of your time visiting CCF and getting the chance to see our cattle. We are 1 hour west of Charleston and a 1 ½ hours northeast Hilton Head.
